this notice explains how Vurdict LLC ("we", "us") handles personal data for "overthinking to boundaries". for the data described here, Vurdict LLC is the data controller — we decide what is collected and why.
what we collect and why
- your email address — collected at checkout by Whop so we can confirm your purchase, give you access to the course, and reach you about your order. legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- your purchase record — the order identifier, amount, status and date, so we can verify your access and handle support or refunds. legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in running the business.
- basic technical data — IP address and request logs kept by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security, fraud prevention and keeping the site working. legal basis: legitimate interests.
we do not collect or store your card details. payment data goes directly to Whop.
who we share it with
- Whop — our checkout provider, for the sale itself, payments, invoicing, refunds and tax
- hosting providers — to run the site
- professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed
- authorities — where we're required to by law
we do not sell your personal data.
how long we keep it
purchase records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. your access is kept while your account with Whop is active; if you ask us to delete your data, we will. anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
security
we use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encrypted connections and restricted access to our systems. no system is perfectly secure, so please keep your Whop login details private.
cookies
we use only essential storage needed to run the site. we don't run advertising or tracking cookies. the checkout is operated by Whop and follows Whop's own cookie practices.
your rights
depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. if you're in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, and we'll respond to requests within one month. data may be processed in the United States by our providers, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
