this notice explains how Vurdict LLC ("we", "us") handles personal data for "overthinking to boundaries". for the data described here, Vurdict LLC is the data controller — we decide what is collected and why.
what we collect and why
- your email address — collected at checkout so we can confirm your purchase, send your private access link, and reach you about your order. legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- your purchase record — the order identifier, amount, status and date, so we can verify your access and handle support or refunds. legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in running the business.
- your written reflections — whatever you type into the lesson boxes, stored so you can leave and come back to it and read it back in lesson five. legal basis: contract. we do not read these for marketing and never publish them.
- basic technical data — IP address and request logs kept by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security, fraud prevention and keeping the site working. legal basis: legitimate interests.
we do not collect or store your card details. payment data goes directly to Paddle.
who we share it with
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale itself, payments, invoicing, refunds and tax compliance
- hosting and database providers — to run the site and store your purchase record and reflections
- professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed
- authorities — where we're required to by law
we do not sell your personal data.
how long we keep it
purchase records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. your reflections and access link are kept while your access is active; if you ask us to delete them, we will. anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
security
we use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encrypted connections, restricted database access, and access links that are long and randomly generated. no system is perfectly secure, so please keep your access link private.
cookies
we use only essential storage: your browser keeps a copy of your access link so you can return to your lessons. we don't run advertising or tracking cookies. the checkout is operated by Paddle and follows Paddle's own cookie practices.
your rights
depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. if you're in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, and we'll respond to requests within one month. data may be processed in the United States by our providers, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
